This app is designed to give students a faster and more convenient way to order food and drinks from the school café. It eliminates the need for physical queuing by allowing users to browse the menu, make cashless payments, and receive real-time updates on their order status. The goal of the app is to create a smoother dining experience while helping the café manage peak-hour crowds more efficiently.
Design Process
In this app, the user journey is kept straightforward to make ordering as quick and fuss-free as possible. Users start by opening the app and browsing through the café’s menu, which clearly displays food and drink options, along with their prices. After deciding what they want, they can place their order directly through the app with just a few taps. Once the order is submitted, the café receives it immediately and begins preparation, during which the user can track the process.
The app features a beige and brown colour palette to create a gender-neutral, warm café atmosphere, while the overall interface embraces a fun and engaging UI to make browsing and ordering an enjoyable experience for users.
