About Me

Hi! My name is Cai Ni, a current year 2 student studying the Diploma in Design for User Experience at Republic Polytechnic.

I graduated from Edgefield Secondary with the intention of pursuing graphic design studies and possibly career. But as I moved along with life, I seemed to have headed along the path of being a UX/UI student. While it wasn't my initial plan, I find myself enjoying the many aspects of what being a UX student is like. I now tend to be more attentive to any usability issues with the many products and services in Singapore, which allows me to spot usability gaps early and rethink how everyday experiences can be made more intuitive with better UX.

RP helped me understand so much more about how the potential of a product can be improved when we take the UX into consideration. Thus, I’ve learned to become more intentional in my design decisions, ensuring that every feature, flow, and interaction contributes to a seamless user experience. Through my portfolio, I hope to share the evolution of my design journey, from where I began to the designer I’m becoming. I’m excited to continue growing, experimenting, and creating. Join me as I explore the world of UX design.
